We got the pineapple bowl with salmon and teriyaki sauce and it was absolutely delicious! Chef Sam and Erika were incredibly friendly and super helpful in navigating dietary restrictions. Would 10/10 recommend!

My mom and I came in on a Sunday afternoon looking for some lunch. We hadn't done our research and it turns out they do not serve their pineapple bowls on Sundays. HOWEVER, they do a Soul food Sunday menu instead, and it sounded too good to pass up on and we were HUNGRY! So we got a chicken combo and a catfish combo. (The chicken combo came with 6 wingettes) These plates were LOADED, steaming hot, and made fresh to order. It was a rainy day so it was a little slow, which makes me doubly impressed by the amazing experience we had! Everything was cooled perfectly and absolutely packed with flavor. While we were eating, one of the amazing members of staff (I believe the manager) came to check on us, and both employees made us feel very welcome! They were super friendly, and enthusiastic to cook and serve an amazing meal! It was such a cozy Sunday meal, and I can't recommend this place enough to y'all. We can't wait to come back to try their pineapple bowls!

My boyfriend and I went for Soul Food Sunday and it did not disappoint! We got the Oxtail, salmon, yellow rice, Mac n cheese, beans, candied yams, greens & cornbread. Everything was fantastic and tasted amazing. Chef Sam was also very welcoming and personable. We definitely will be back during the week to try the regular menu! 10/10

After watching an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, my husband and I decided to spend a weekend in Tallahassee to try Pineappetit and let me tell you, they did not disappoint!!! We were immediately greeted with smiles, questions answered thoroughly and with patience and the owner and his assistant even took the time to pose for a picture! We ordered beef patties and shared an order of oxtail nachos. The food was AMAZING!!! It was beautifully presented and the taste was even better than the presentation. The pastry on the patty was light, fluffy, golden and delicious. The shredded beef was perfectly seasoned. But the oxtail nachos were DEFINITELY THE STAR OF THE SHOW!! First of all, it takes a creative mind to think of making oxtail nachos!! The oxtails were sooo darn tender and had a Caribbean kick that was perfectly tamed by a pineapple based salsa that was amazing!! My husband and I sat there licking our fingers! If you’re ever in Tallahassee, do yourself a favor and stop by Pineappetit! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

I tried all sorts of things off the menu and not ONE thing tasted bad. The wings, the pasta, the pineapple bowl, the patties, everything was delicious! The workers were very sweet and welcoming as well. If you haven't come to try this place you are doing yourself a disservice!
